Overview
BIA’s comprehensive redesign of the MBTA’s wayfinding signage system established a single, unified approach that reinforces the MBTA’s brand consistency and reliability. The MBTA began implementation of the new system for all subway and commuter rail stations starting in 2011, and is now implementing it on all projects going forward. The scope encompasses both visual and tactile braille signage systems, which to date include the following stations:
